SilkRoad - Route de la Soie 2014   First Bosphorus Bridge, completed in 1973; 1’580 meters long. In 1988, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge was completed. Both bridges are over congested by commuter’s traffic from 7am till 10pm. Within one-year, a third bridge will be open to rail and trucks traffic.
